We have had a terrible experience with this garage. When my car broke down, we had it towed there based their good reputation. After an evaluation, they informed me that they could fix the issue by sending out a part for repair. They assured me that after $800 and 1 week, I would be all set. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks, I am still without a car and there has been no more information forthcoming. I called on Monday and they said, they were still waiting and there was nothing they could do to help. Today, I demanded to speak to the manager who said they had received the part back on Friday and it wasn't right... so they resent the part and expected it back any day. Even thought I have repeatedly called to ask what was happening, no one bothered to let me know to prepare for another week without my car. My frustration is not only with the timeliness of their service, I understand that things come up that are outside of the shop's control. But the lack of communication is infuriating! At this point, I don't know if they are telling me the truth or if they are just stringing me along. I still have no idea when my car will be finished... Surely, a locally owned business can do better than this! I am committed to supporting the local businesses but when they abuse my trust and fail to respect my business, I will not make this mistake again.
